Perfect food and service. Cheese croquettes food for the gods! I liked the giant sliding blue door on the back wall and the ginormous botanical display at the front. Nice music, not too loud. Big splurge for small timers like us but would do it again if possible.

We had a great dinner at Studio Barndiva during the Sonoma County Restaurant week. Everything we tried (Bibb lettuce salad with blue cheese dressing, onion soup, duck leg confit, salmon Grenobloise and crème fraiche panna cotta) was delicious, with the onion soup and salmon as standouts. Salmon was probably the most delicious salmon I have ever had, perfectly seared on the outside and luxuriously moist on the inside. The onion soup was rich and had slight sweetness to it which greatly elevated the flavor. Bibb letuce and other vegetables in the salad tasted so fresh and looked so pristine they may have been picked that day. My least favorite dish was the panna cotta desert which was not as creamy as I expected, but my dinner companions seemed to enjoy it. One issue that I have with the restaurant is its corkeage fee. At $25 per bottle it is unusually high for this area. The restaurant's wine list is very good, but the mark-up is very high, so bringing your own bottle of wine, especially a very good and expensive one that you may have been saving for a special occasion, makes sense.

The art was interesting, several artist on display. The setting was surprisingly intimate considering how large and spacious the room. It's fantastic, the tables are far apart and you can hear your dinner companions. I enjoyed the beet salad and the butter leaf lettuce salad. Sweet beets with a nice light dressing. We were celebrating a friend's birthday and they sent a pot de creme at the end of the meal. An off putting (but honest) thing was the waitress said she's never eaten at the restaurant before, she'd only worked there a few weeks. For me it made the recommendation she made to my friend for the best burger in town hollow. My friend did love her burger. She liked the fries more, house made thick chip of a fry. Defiantly worth checking out for a delicious farm to table meal.

Amazing food, service, atmosphere and just experience. Came here and entered through Barndiva and took a stroll through the back way and entered The Gallery Bar & Bistro. Very open space and cool vibe inside. The space was filled with fine art and sculptures which played a part in the restaurant. For example, a lamp above our table was for sale and it had a tag with a price, but meanwhile it was working and on. The food was delicious. I got Sole, fish and it was soooo good. It came with lettuce and potatoes, which was very nice combination and the flavors were to die for. For appetizer I got Goat Cheer Croquettes which was super yummy!!! They come work and dipped honey over and melt in your mouse. My boyfriend loved his Pork Belly snack, and my dad couldn't help himself but continuesly reaching over, across the table. I can honestly say we cleaned our plates as if there is no tomorrow and wanted more. The service was super lovely and helpful to my stepmother who can't eat anything with gluten. Absolutely loved this restaurant and counting the days for my return!

Such an amazing series of spaces, indoor and out! When we were in the wine country three weeks ago, before the horrific fires, my brother wanted to introduce us to this unique business. Didn't take long to be enchanted with the concept and fall in love with the eclectic decor. Essentially, you can dine and enjoy drinks surrounded by unique architecture, and artwork of many types. The main building is one giant, high-ceilinged space, divided into niches in some areas. Out back, there is a similarly large outdoor area. Highlighted by clever lighting and vintage accessories, it has a magical feel. I could easily imagine a rousing wedding celebration in the back garden. We didn't have time to sit down and sample their service and food / beverage options, but just soaking up the ambience in a walk-through sampling left me wanting to go back soon for a more immersive experience. Charming!

Stumbled upon The Gallery Bar in Healdsburg, CA. Charming place with gorgeous lighting, and interesting artwork. Our server, Ryan, treated us to lightly fried goat cheese pastries. Wow. Please do yourself a favor and visit here. Great wine and liquor selections, too.
